Through AI-powered characters, historically grounded visuals, and interactive environments, the project shifts history from a static narrative into an immersive, participatory experience.

The Carolina Rising logotype merges past and present through New Science typeface—a deliberate choice that brings modern clarity to Revolutionary-era storytelling. The custom gateway symbol acts as a visual threshold, inviting visitors to step across centuries and experience history as an immersive journey rather than a static exhibit.

The museum’s color palette was developed by analyzing thousands of 18th-century oil paintings with AI to extract the most recurring tones of the Revolutionary era. Curated into a final system, these colors reflect the emotional weight of the period, shaping the exhibition atmosphere rather than serving as decoration.

The exhibition visuals were developed through a hybrid AI-driven process that transformed hand-drawn sketches into historically grounded scenes. Guided by a photojournalist perspective, the resulting visual library maintains consistency, realism, and the feeling of witnessing history as it unfolds.

Carolina Rising museum turns historical interpretation into an active exchange. Visitors engage directly with AI-powered historic characters—asking questions, observing debates, and participating in real time—positioning the museum as a space for dialogue rather than passive observation.
